Introduction Video
The purpose of the introduction video was to get to learn how to put our basic information about ourselves into a video and tell about it. We had to tell about our background of where were are from, what’s our major in school and classification. The video was also design for our classmates to get to know us and ourselves recording a video for our majors for job interviews. We also had to explain our hobbies and why we chose to take our certain majors. I learned how to modify an upload the video and use the blog site to upload the video and how people can go to your blog and view your post and video. It can be long as you want as long as you talk about yourself and personalities. I had a hard time just focus on making the video about myself because this is the first time I’ve had to make a video. I often had a hard time uploading the video and copy and paste the links for the videos. I will integrate by having practice on recording a class video and being a little more professional. I will also learn how to be creative when it comes to making videos and relax when making them. For the standards, the video met creativity and innovation because it involved using technology for class projects and tools on making a video. It enhances it to the students blog and be creative with the video.
Concept Map
The purpose of the concept was to pick a subject that you would want to teach in high schools and find the NASPE Standards for that subject. We had to give the main objectives and different things that you can teach with in the subject to students. We also had to put examples and problems beside the objectives we were teaching with in the subject. We created a web map to make it easier in basic steps for every objective. We had to become very creative and be very descriptive with in the standards. I’ve learned while doing this assignment, that there are many different objectives with in the subject that you can choose from to teach younger kids with the standards, but you have to be very descriptive and give good examples. The problems that I encountered was that was picking good objectives that kids would understand and have fun with. I chose math because it’s pretty simple because it’s working with word problems and measuring. There were a lot of functions to choose from but a lot of objectives that were vague and basic. In math you cannot be basic because in math you have to solve problems. I had trouble getting the main focus and some examples of the objectives. I solved the problem by comparing and contrasting the objectives. I will integrate into my teaching by starting off a lesson plan just for the concept map and break down the top subjects and choose from them. The standards the concept map met was critical thinking, problem solving and decision making because we plan to complete a project using tools within making the web.
Web Tools
The purpose for web tools was to read an article and give our personal opinion on the article. We had to give our opinion on how digital tools track several student’s emotions and mindsets. I gave several tools that our generation likes to use like Microsoft and excel to help them in the classroom. Some students also look to Google ad Yahoo for help with succeeding. It also talks about how the tools help them in school to succeed in areas. It emphasizes on how the digital tools take an effect on student’s emotions and change their mindset in different perspectives. Students look towards the internet for success in school. I learned that some digital tools can sometimes have an effect on your mind and how you feel about them. Using different tools does help out with a lot of class work on and off digital devices. It can help enhance their skills on the computers. I had problems pointing out how they could have trouble using the internet. The way I solved it is by looking at what the students uses the most which is Google and Microsoft. The standards that was used for the web tools was research and information fluency because the students applied and used digital tools to gather, evaluate, and to complete their projects.
Web Page
The web page was fun because we got to create our personal page for students and their parents to look at when they wanted to. It was similar to blackboard but for middle and high schoolers. We uploaded things about what we were teaching and what the students will be doing throughout the semester or year. We set rules and told about our personal background and hobbies. I learned to be creative and using things and getting an early jump on creating a page for my future students. I used things that I use to teach students now out in my career field. The only trouble I had was getting the videos to help the parents understand the class better. The solution to that was getting easy things to do and break it down into simple forms so the parents could understand the basics of what I am teaching. The standard for this was Promote and Model Digital Citizenship and Responsibility because as a teacher, you have to be creative and at the same time you have to get objective that will help students excel in your classroom.
Google Groups
This one was my favorite because we came together as a group and talk about writing a story and coming together. We also talk about the different things in the slideshow and how they similar they are. I didn’t have any problem out this at all because we worked as a group and have different opinions but gave good details to use in each other slides. Communication and collaboration was used because you was working as a team and collaborating great ideas to make the project a success.
Movie
The movie wasn’t hard. I actually enjoyed making it. It was about picking a topic out of our life and I talk about. I talked about my time playing sports while in high school. We had to take ten pictures and describe them. The movie has to also consist of creativity and music. I learned how to be more creative by adding music and controlling the special effects of the movie. The problems I encountered while making the movie was getting the pictures to zoom in and out on them. I solved the problem by cropping the picture and cutting out parts of the pictures that was not needed. The standard that was used for the movie was the creativity and innovation because the work was original and had to be entertaining.
Course Reflection
In this class I’ve learn how to be very creative at the same time, talk about the objectives and main points in the assignments that were given unto me. I learn a lot dealing with different windows on how to the assignments completed from Google to windows 9. My strong points was given my creativity into projects and given my opinions for the topics of how technology has changed our lives. This was my strong point because I was always creative when it came to creating blog and portfolios while I was in high school. It was like second nature when it came to talking and configuring my major into some assignments in the classrooms because I love sport. My weakness was managing my time while doing my projects and sometimes making things out for my future that will help me. It seemed sometime I overthink some of the projects because of the way the directions were. At the same time I just sometime made the project(s) long. My future goals which is coaching or teaching, will indicate and use only the main points instead of getting off track and continue talking about the subject. I plan on using clickers and kahoot into my classrooms and let the kids become creative and make projects and quizzes the same was as Dr. Beedle did us. Also construct my P.E class with creative theme and rhythms. My opinion on the portfolios and blogs in education are great. They talk about how much technology has changed our world and especially in this generation. It also give teachers to see how creative educational students are creative before they go out to teach or coach and give their opinion.

Life On Mars
I wouldn't mind going to Mars. It seems like it would be a good start on a new planet. On Mars, you can make out going calls. you can access different type of this and also search its planet for materials that you can use. You could walk around and discover new things and search for water. You of course have to carry your own equipment and have something to stay in because you are outer space.
Transforming Education with Technology
This article is about how technology is transforming
education. It talks about how people go out and visit school and how they see
what different types of technology is in the classroom. Teachers are using
laptops and i pads for using advanced learning materials. It shows that using
technology has advance scores and grades in the classroom. In one school,
technology has has help pass state test and get proficient scores. Textbooks
have been for the most part phased out except in advanced placement classes, and
student homework, grades, assignments, and calendars are all online.

10 Ways to Engage Students With Tech
This article is mainly about the technology in todays generation. The technology that the article has is very accurate because that is all mostly the world uses in and out of classrooms. It helps with projects and case studies. Over the years technology has advanced and now it is used in the classroom for some resources. Videos an Learning games helps in the classrooms. Design thinking and Collaboration tools help wit designing projects.
I think this is a good article because it features up to date technology that helps in the class room. It even breaks down the technology and give different examples. It explain how it helps in the classrooms also. Many of the technology has been updated from the past and used in an advanced way. Also in todays generation, everyone is hands one and visual learners.

Standards for Mathematical Practice
4th Grade Standards
The Standards for Mathematical Practice describe varieties
of expertise that mathematics educators at all levels should seek to develop in
their students. The first of these are the NCTM process standards of problem
solving, reasoning and proof, communication, representation, and connections.
The second are the strands of mathematical proficiency specified in the
National Research Council’s report Adding It Up:
adaptive reasoning, strategic competence, conceptual understanding
(comprehension of mathematical concepts, operations and relations), procedural
fluency (skill in carrying out procedures flexibly, accurately, efficiently and
appropriately), and productive disposition (habitual inclination to see
mathematics as sensible, useful, and worthwhile, coupled with a belief in
diligence and one’s own efficacy).
1.Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them.
Word Problems
Mathematically proficient students start by explaining to
themselves the meaning of a problem and looking for entry points to its
solution. They make conjectures about the form and meaning of the solution and
plan a solution pathway rather than simply jumping into a solution attempt.
2.Reason abstractly and quantitatively
Words to Numbers, Numbers to Words
Quantitative reasoning entails habits of creating a coherent
representation of the problem at hand; considering the units involved;
attending to the meaning of quantities, not just how to compute them; and
knowing and flexibly using different properties of operations and objects.
Mathematically proficient students make sense of quantities and their
relationships in problem situations
3.Construct viable
arguments and critique the reasoning of others.
Word Problems
Mathematically proficient students are also able to compare
the effectiveness of two plausible arguments distinguish correct logic or
reasoning from that which is flawed, and if there is a flaw in an argument
explain what it is. Mathematically proficient students understand and use
stated assumptions, definitions, and previously established results in
constructing arguments.
4.Model with mathematics.
Diagrams
Mathematically proficient students can apply the mathematics
they know to solve problems arising in everyday life, society, and the
workplace. In middle grades, a student
might apply proportional reasoning to plan a school event or analyze a problem
in the community.
Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them.
5.Use appropriate tools strategically
Shapes, Diagrams, Figures
These tools might include pencil and paper, concrete models,
a ruler, a protractor, a calculator, a spreadsheet, a computer algebra system,
a statistical package, or dynamic geometry software. Mathematically proficient
students consider the available tools when solving a mathematical problem.
John Hunter
He dropped in and out of college and his parents were supporting him. They said he had to get a degree in something so he got a degree in education and teaching. He went in for an interview and it woke him up on the inside to teach students. Chris made a film and John figured out that the film was about him. He saw his teachers coming through him. Every time he sees the film he thinks of his mother as a teaching gesture. He developed a game that soon became popular to use in the elementary class room. It is a world peace games They choose their own ways of playing the game and settings. They learn to look oversight reaction and look for the goals of war in the game. A student shares his input on the game that it teaches them to be better and fix the world in the better way. In the game it was a little girl who was a general and she attack someone else. They were upset and wonder why she attacked the other person. Few game days later, they saw why she attack the other person. They got into deep discussion about was she right or wrong. The way the game is won is that all 50 problems have to be solved.
Digital Tools Evolving to Track Students' Mindsets, Emotions
Technology enables elementary and primary students to reach their full academic and career potential through developing and deploying math instructional software and systems but it affects their minds and emotions. Classrooms tools like computers, tablets and smartphones offer exciting opportunities to deepen learning through creativity, collaboration and connection, but those very devices can also be distracting to students. In similarly, parents complain that when students are required to complete homework assignments online, it’s a challenge for students to remain on task. The ubiquity of digital technology in all realms of life isn’t going away, but if students don’t learn how to concentrate and shut out distractions, research shows they’ll have a much harder time succeeding in almost every area. I think this would cause the younger kids to be lazy and always reply on technology. Students will always look to technology to solve their problems throughout life. At the same time students would get distracted by social media. Instead of reading the book to their answers , they would go to the internet.
3.What does research really say about iPads in the classroom
This article is mainly about younger children know how to use iPads better than older teens. It says young adults may know how to use social media apps and keep up with the latest fashion and trends but don't know how to use learning technology. It says children know how to use learning technology better than teachers and interns. I think they do because we spend more time on social media and not learning about the up to date technology of learning. Younger students will know because they don't spend time on social media like older people.
2.A Teenager's View on Educational Technology
1.The summary is that students use up to date technology while in class. Teachers also judge them because of the technology and software they know how to use it. The students feel as if they can learn about technology earlier in their age and it would make them more smarter and advance than other ages. Teachers also feel the students are learning more technology than they should know at their age and shouldn't be using some of the technology because they feel they would know it all.
2. My opinion is that teachers have allowed the students to learn different technology way above their ages and they shouldn't use some of it. They would be able to get away with some of the stuff for the technology.
